Here we go again... Every year we put ourselves through the "fun" of trying to capture the perfect moment for the family Christmas Card. You know what I mean by the perfect moment: Five glowing angelic smiles. Two happy and loving parents whose eyes shine with pride over their beautiful brood. A perfect snapshot representing the perfect, Norman Rockwellian, American home and family. Instead... reality. Ryan's eyes are crossed in one frame. Nathan's doing something weird with his face in the next. Sarah's staring off into space or Katie is communicating with Collin's diaper in another. As we snapped picture after picture after picture, it became abundantly clear that the perfect snapshot was going to elude us this year. We even seemed to be failing in our attempts to achieve "mildly flawed." Eventually, we did manage to capture a snapshot that Rachel declared "passable" and that is the one that went out on our family Christmas card. Here are a few of the others...
